“Butterfly wonderland… dazzling brilliance… fascinating lights,” said Bear. He tripped, rolled over, stood on his feet… “Butterfly wonderland… beauty galore.”
“What is this place?” asked Bear. He walked to the opposite end of his cave… the whole cave hidden under the waterfall… that’s when he fell… “ouch… that hurts.”
It was worth falling… “Butterfly wonderland… so extravagant. Where have you been hidng?”
“I wonder where I am,” said Bear. “Am I still in my cave… or in another world… Butterfly wonderland?”
“People say I have a great imagination… this is not my imagination. This is real… this is beautiful butterfly wonderland.”
“Flutter, flit, touch ‘n go… butterfly wonderland flying all over the place. Flowers are actually lit up flight paths for butterfly wonderland.”
“The butterfly wonderland was made up of butterflies… exquisite flowers; tourquoise, red, gold … all the jewels of the universe. Butterflies tap danced and did ballet on jeweled colored flowers… at the same time were magnificent flying jewels themselves.”
“What a wonderful discovery. Clearly you came out of the clear blue sky… from nothing… just falling down, rolling over and looking… I discovered treasure… butterfly wonderland.”
Butterfly Tree Garden
Bear would cultivate his wonderful garden… his butterfly wonderland. Give the butterflies extravagance… light, love ‘n music.
“Look here,” Bear squealed in delight. “Your own little stream… wanders through the garden… good water that will keep you healthy!”
He held his ear and bent next to the stream, “He could hear the water drops splish splash… they tinkled as they sprayed all over the tiny rocks on the way downstream.”
“Tiny garden stones of all colors… bedazzle my eyes. My butterfly wonderland… laughing,” he held his belly.
“Umbrellas made from leaves… leaves dance up and down as you push off to your next colorful destination. What’s under your bouncing leaves?”
Multiple butterflys distracted Bear… he didn’t look under the leaves. His eyes were drawn to the tree the butterflies declaring their next butterfly wonderland.
“Evidently butterfly wonderland is a moving enchanting delight,” his eyes sparkled as he viewed their splendor. “Wonder what you will do next for an encore… flutter butterfly as if you are playing a violin or even a flute?”
“Bedtime for me,” mumbled Bear as he wandered back to his cave. “I’ll see you in the morning.”
“These pine boughs sure make for a warm soft bed. He snuggled in deep to ward off the oncoming night chill.”
“Snore… snore… snore… whistle… snore… whistle!” Bear was in dream land. “You are so colorful!”
“Butterflies all over the place… too many to count. They were trying to tell him something.”
“No, don’t go over there… danger!” The brilliant yellow butterfly stood tall as he warned Bear. “Stop… stay away!”
Bear had already stepped into the deep dark forest. Just enough light so he could make out movement.
“It looked to be a shadow of a dragon! What is it doing here?” Bear thought.
Lightning flashed… Bear saw the multi-colored dragon… butterfly prisms all over his dragon body. Bear hoped to see the dragon again in another lightning strike.
This time the lightning struck and Bear saw for sure… it’s a dragon with a multi-colored butterfly exterior.
“Do you eat butterflies?,” asked Bear. “You look like a butterfly only shaped like a dragon… how did you get that way?”
“They are supposed to stay out of my territory. They are fair game when they come over here… I eat them,” growled the multi-colored DragonButterfly.
“They are supposed to stay in butterfly wonderland. Bear you too were warned to stay away from me,” said the dragon.
“I have never eaten Bear before… wonder if you are tough. Do I need meat tenderizer?”
“Do I eat you raw or cooked?” asked the dragon. “With or without steak or BBQ sauce?”
“I’m leaving… do it now,” said Bear. “I am afraid of you… he woke from the dream to sounds of a small bell ringing.”
Butterfly Explodes… Color Shots?
Bear heard butterfly wings beating angrily. He looked and saw a butterfly exploding and shooting color all over the place.
“Bear you are afraid of me? I am so pretty… so colorful,” said the dragon.
“You want to eat me,” said Bear. “I’m leaving… do it now,” he repeated for the second time!
“Thank you angry butterfly,” Bear mumbled to himself. “You are distracting the dragon and giving me time to think so I can take action.”
“Time for my special powers,” and he focused his eyes skyward as he lifted his arms. “Bye… bye.”
He looked down and all that was left were one of his lime green socks. He was soaring out of the darkness back to butterfly wonderland.
Peace, Love ‘n Joy
“Too close,” Bear said. “Now I know what butterfly wonderland needs… how to help them is now on my to do list.”
“Butterfly wonderland needs to know it has nothing to fear. Peace, love and joy forever in butterfly wonderland,” Bear said.
“I need to set up a barrier so dragons can’t endanger butterflies. What will it be?” asked Bear.
“A clear wall so the darkness of the dragons can never mix with the light of the butterflies? How will I do that?”
“Wrought iron fencing so the dragons can’t come over and eat the butterflies. Especially as an after dinner dessert.”
“A fine butterfly net so the butterflies will never leave their butterfly wonderland… flying into darkness by accident. Would need to be steel mesh so the dragons can’t penetrate either.”
“Why can’t the butterflies and dragons be in peace? What is the reason they have to be separated?”
“The butterflies need to feel free and fly wherever they want to go anytime. The dragons are hungry and need to eat… the butterflies are tasty morsels.”
“What if I were to divert the stream that the fish swim in? Teach the dragons how to fish and eat fish.”
“That would work… the dragons need to eat fish. Once they eat enough fish they lose their butterfly colors and addiction to eating butterflies… become their original dragon scales.”
“What you eat is what you are. As a man thinketh so is he.”
“A butterfly patrol insuring peace. Heart lasso’s to love anyone who is straying from peace.”
“Could there be peace between the butterflies and the dragons? Can darkness be at peace with light?”
“Can Butterfly Wonderland live next door to Dragon Darkness? Would it balance the universe?”
I don’t see why not… cats and dogs live together. What do you think?
“Wow, maybe we could change the world” exclaimed Bear “there is my missing lime green sock… that defintely changes the world!”
