“Green eyes from other worlds… can’t describe. Green eyes peering over this world and me,” said Miss Giraffe.
“You saw black and white stripes also? Unbelievable,” said Bear.
“This can’t be possible. Where were you when this happened?”
“I was behind the tree… I don’t want to go back there!”
“What’s bugging you… green eyes or black and white stripes?” said Bear.
“Come with me… give up your fear. Join my adventures.”
“I gotta find a new place to live. Join me… give up your wild stories.”
“I think you are living in fear. Have you been alone for a long time?”
“Maybe your imagination is running away with you. Come along with me… learn new ideas and secrets.”
The giraffe stood silent.
Bear remembered a Ben Franklin quote someone told him, “A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.”
Running from Penetrating Green Eyes
Bear stood still… breathing deeply… not speaking. Here goes nothing… he spoke to the giraffe.
“There are two kinds of giraffes in this world. Those who are afraid… those who are brave. Which do you choose to be?”
“I choose to be brave however I know you think my imagination is running away with me.”
“Piercing penetrating green eyes… they are following me. Yes, I am physically running away.”
“Did you see that? The ground just popped up and it is running all over the place!”
“I am going to follow it. I can hear the ground laughing now… too funny!”
“When I step on it in one place it pops up in another place. It laughs some more.”
“You’re laughing… running away from the green eyes,” Bear said.
“You’re not afraid anymore. You’re laughing… awesome!”
“Focus! Wonder what’s under the ground?”
“The ground quit moving,” said the giraffe.
Haunting Green Eyes Become Yellow Flower
“Please join me on my travels. Also please think of something other than the green eyes.”
“Let me show you how. Focus on the dramatic beautiful yellow flower over there.”
“I taught you the Law of Substitution. Now you’ve learned you can only think one thought at a time.”
“Do you use this a lot in your life Bear?” asked the giraffe.
“Yes. I practice substitution to keep positive thoughts in my life.
“What are you focusing on Miss Giraffe?” asked Bear.
“I keep seeing haunting green eyes in my mind. Seems to me they are surrounded by green forest.”
“What would happen if you changed your focus to the yellow flower?” asked Bear.
“Then I would see a beautiful yellow flower in my mind. Wouldn’t that be nice,” exclaimed the giraffe.
“I think I want to remember the ground popping up. That’s green too… green ground… no eyes!”
Eagles Play in September Breezes
“Let me tell you a story. Do you like freedom?”
“Yes I want to be free.”
“Eagles are free. My story is about them.”
“It was early fall… about September… warm days… cool nights. North window frame showcased sunshine, clouds and mountains.
I saw eagles playing in the wind. The beautiful clouds forming and moving apart could only be done by the winds.
Beautiful cloud sculptures formed… broke apart. Some clouds raced like chariots.
I stepped outside in the fresh air. The day was warm and sunny.
Suddenly a small eagle… maybe a baby… tried to catch the breezes the older eagles were riding.
The baby missed and started tumbling in the air. He quickly caught a breeze again and rode it to the top… he cruised with the older eagles.
I’ll remember the day of the eagles… especially the baby eagle… one of nature’s greatest secret treats to me.”
Focus on Freedom ‘n Flying
“How do you feel after hearing the eagle story Miss Giraffe?” asked Bear.
“I feel free. I feel like I am flying with the eagles.”
“All we did is change your thoughts as you focused on the eagles.”
“Do you want to try by yourself?” asked Bear.
“Wow, I tried. My mind!”
“My mind is a rubber band. It snaps back into place… sees green eyes.”
“Well let me see what I can come up with next to help you,” said Bear.
“There is a book in my backpack you might find interesting. Let me find it.”
Marbles rolled out of his backpack. Need to hide those so she can’t see them.
There were two dark-green marbles on the ground amidst the others.
“What if she thinks they are green eyes?” He kicked them under his backpack.
Escape from Green Eyes?
“Here’s my book you can read… its title is “Jonathan Livingston Seagull”… a marvelous story by Richard Bach.”
“There is also a movie about the book. Neil Diamond sings the soundtrack.”
“Enjoy reading. Focus on the book.”
Bear thought to himself reading will keep her mind busy. She’ll forget about green eyes.
There is something I need to check out,” said Bear outloud. ” Why Miss Giraffe is fixated on those green eyes.”
“I am thinking I should stroll around behind the tree. Something’s back there.”
“Miss Giraffe is busy reading an interesting short book. Maybe she’ll take up flying.”
He walked a short distance to the bushy tree… slowly walking around behind it.
“Wow what a dynamic set of green eyes… they see through me,” said Bear.
“So now I know the giraffe wasn’t seeing things. What do I do now?”
Green Eyes Exciting Unbelievable Secret World
“I’m staring down the greenness of those eyes,” said Bear. “I want them to leave,” said Bear.
“Something odd. It’s time I find out the secret of the green eyes,” said Bear.
“I don’t think they are real. There is something odd about them.”
“I’ll figure them out.” Bear raised his hand and waved. “They don’t blink!”
“I’ll keep walking towards the eyes,” said Bear.
“It’s a secret… it’s a painting,” said Bear. “Wonder what is behind?”
“I need to hold onto something… gotta keep my balance. Let me look behind this painting,” said Bear.
Bear felt himself slipping. He was sliding!
He turned on his secret powers…. dug his heels into the ground strongly. He stopped moving.
Post your comments below… what secrets are behind the painting? What are the green eyes hiding?
Will Bear be strong enough to withstand the forces that moved him? What about finding a new place to live?
