“Amy isn’t that a beautiful bag full of gifts.
Santa must have left them for us. I love Santa. I love Christmas. I love you Amy. I love the whole world. And you know Monica says I should love even the mice.” Bear was trying to eat his dinner as he talked.
“Isn’t it said that love makes the world go around?” asked Bear.
“Yes love does make the world go around,” said Amy. “However you need to eat your dinner. Don’t talk with your mouth full.”
“Amy look at the red bird!”
“Yes Bear that is a Cardinal. Shhh don’t scare him,” Amy said.
Bear asked Amy, “How do you know that is a boy?”
Amy said, “Males are always more brilliant in color. That is so they can protect the females…their bright colors attract the predators and they draw them away from the nest.”
“Amy look there goes Santa and his reindeer. He left us a train and a new friend. Wow, Amy, this is the best Christmas ever,” Yorkie Bear said. “Look at all the new toys I have.”
“Yes and it is only Christmas Eve! There will be more under the tree tomorrow morning if you go to bed right now!”
“Ok Amy, I am going to bed right now! Good night,” Bear said. “Merry Christmas to everyone everywhere including the mice. Cause Monica said we have to love them too!”
